Amazing view from the lanai off the master bedroom and living room, with beach, palm trees, stars and moonlight reflecting off the ocean out the guest bedroom window. Well equipped kitchen.

Very uncrowded beach, pool, and kid splash pool with attached hot tub. Roll-away bed worked out great for the 3-year old. Immaculate grounds with fantastic BBQ areas.

We will definitely return!

We love staying at Unit 507 at Lahaina Shores and try to book our 10-day trip every year to Maui at this condo. We love the location of the facility and find everything we need at 507. The view is outstanding and offers us a full spectrum of the islands in every direction, the bay for watching whales and boats approaching and even leaving for early morning fishing ventures. The unit is centrally located in the building and easy access to all of the amenities. Walking the beach in the morning is especially enjoyable. We also love the the walk to the marina and all the shops and restaurants on Front Street are minutes away. We drive as seldom as possible, leaving the car in covered parking below, and walk whenever possible.

Sitting under the Banyan tree next to the marina is always lovely, listening to music or the sound of the birds. Unit 507 provides a very comfortable stay for us, with very lovely surroundings, nicely furnished and quiet when we need to rest from our activities.

Customer service from management is excellent and our needs are always addressed immediately and professionally. We highly recommend staying at Unit 507 and will continue visiting Maui at least once a year. We could stay anywhere on the Island, and choose this location and this unit.

Thanks for all the great service and beauty.

Our first impression when we walked in the door to our units was "Wow"!! The view from the balconies was breathtaking! We have a large family of 11 so we were happy to find a place online that would accommodate all of us. The same owner had two units at The Maalaea Banyans condos, both with amazing views.

Getting settled went very smoothly and there were no issues with the door codes, parking or directions getting there. Both units were clean and had all the necessary basics. The units did look somewhat smaller than the pictures showed but we all had enough space and bonded our family even closer. The wifi worked great. Appliances and water all great.

The pool and hot tub were much enjoyed. Our kids snorkelled and swam with the turtles in the ocean right in front of the condos almost every day we were there. These condos are within walking distance to the aquarium and marina where there are a couple restaurants and shops as well. It is however in a very windy area of the island but that is really the only downside we could find. But we were off exploring everyday so the wind wasn't much of an issue anyways.

Maui is such an amazing place!! I would highly recommend taking a helicopter tour through Air Maui. Lovely people and incredible experience.

Our whole holiday was one of the best family vacations we've ever taken and we would love to return some day.

The Kaanapali Royal was a nice place for our large family of 6 and a 16 month old. We rented two condos which were within close proximity to each other. The location was terrific, close to Whaler's Village and the golf course was right in our back yard beyond the lovely pool area.

The condos were nicely furnished, washer/dryer, coffee maker, dishwasher and some beach things like boogie boards, snorkel gear (one set) . Both places were clean and had plenty of towels.

I would recommend this to friends and will definitely stay here again.

This condo was perfect for our group of 4 adults! The wrap around porch over looking the ocean was unbelievable! Here are a few tips that we found that might be helpful:

1. The beach is next door due to the hurricane

2. We found no noise from beach repair during our stay (mid December 2018)

3. The is a very convenient Whalers store just across the street

4. Costco was a perfect stop for supplies from our weeklong stay

5. There are BBQs by the pool

6. The front desk concierge offers morning activity seminars at great prices

7. The front desk concierge has the best snorkel rental prices

8. The coffee in the lobby is NOT good

9. There is a nice washer and dryer in the unit but you need to supply your own soap

10. If you run out of paper towels they only supply one

11. A rental car is key!

12. Checkout time is 11am and Check-in is 3pm

Overall great stay. Cost us about $3K total for 7 nights at the property.

The condo was clean and very comfortable. The view is fantastic on the nice sized balcony. Walking distance to Whaler's village with lots of shops and some restaurants.

There is a great snorkeling beach at Black Rock within walking distance, suggest going early morning. Nice popular barbeque area which is kept in great condition is available. The kitchen had all the necessary items to cook a nice meal. The staff was helpful and responsive to any needs we had.

4 of us - 2 couples stayed here very comfortably.

Whaler unit #1007 is spectacular. Beautifully appointed with everything you need. In-unit laundry allows you to pack lighter, and it doesn't feel like doing laundry when you're watching the sunset from your lanai. Pool and gym are excellent and the beach couldn't be better.

I've stayed in #1007 for the last 2 years and am already booked for 2019. Also, working with Maui Beachfront Rentals makes booking a breeze. They are very patient while you pick different dates and units until you figure out your vacation plans. I've also used them to book unit #701, another great experience.

You can't go wrong with Maui Beachfront Rentals and The Whaler in Kaanapali!

We loved our recent stay at The Whaler #456. This condo is in the perfect spot with a stunning view along the coastline to Black Rock which has lovely calm water in which to swim. The condo itself is nicely furnished, has everything one would need for a stay, clean and updated.

The Whaler is wonderfully situated right next to Whaler’s Village - so shops and restaurants right on your doorstep with a short drive to the grocery store and the town of Lahaina. The Whaler complex is beautifully kept, the grounds neat and tidy and a lovely koi pond where the kiddies can feed the fish every morning.

The pool is right on the beach front, nothing fancy but sufficient if you’re not into waterfalls, slides and grotto’s etc. which some of the beachfront hotels boast of!

The balconies are large, #456 has a couple of lounger chairs, a large dining table and regular chairs - so a great place to spend some “downtime.” We took Grandma a couple of years ago and she was happy to sit out there and people watch - as always a lot going on and she didn’t feel left alone when we all went swimming or on an outing.

We will definitely be back next year!

Banana/macadamia nut pancakes for breakfast at nearby Gazebo; week-long bike rental from West Maui Cycles (great road bikes and hybrids; great choice of excursions (catamaran snorkeling); close proximity to Lahaina (we road our bikes) for shopping and historic sites; hiking to Twin Falls—after great activities each day, we came “home” to beautiful beachfront just steps from our condo and majestic mountains in the opposite direction.

Our Maui house provided a great place to relax and re-create for the next busy day with beds that did not allow us to miss our own and amenities (as in everything you could possibly need) that were thoughtful and greatly enjoyed.

We love to get to come to The Whaler Resort and hope to be able to come again soon! Thank you for having us!

Overall this place is a very nice condo, exactly what we expected. Its a studio, so it's not super big, but it was just two of us and we aimed at spending the majority of our time enjoying the lovely Maui weather so the room size didn't bother us at all.

The room was clean and nice. It had everything we needed. It had all the kitchen stuff we required and they had some beach stuff for us which was nice. The place was well kept, and the staff was friendly. The location was good, just a short walk on the Main Street to all the shops and restaurants in Lahaina.

I would stay here again and would recommend to friends or family.
