This was the first time that my wife and myself have traveled this way and I must say that we loved it. The condo was great and stocked with all the things we needed, the location was also just what we we're looking for only a short walk from Front street. We used the larger pool most days and it was great with lots of seating and some covered if you needed to get out of the sun. Our unit had lots of pots pans and cooking stuff that we needed, we will stay here again.

I wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo. The condo had everything you could need or want for. We have stayed many times in Maui, but this was by far the best in every possible way. The kitchen was beautifully done, the bedding was very comfortable, and the view was amazing. We could sit on the patio and watch whales all day long. You were very attentive to all our needs and requests, and this was appreciated.

The condo was quiet and clean. The queen size bed was very comfortable and kitchen had updated appliances. My 18yo and 15yo sons slept on the sofa bed and said they were comfortable. The newish bed situation was the main reason I booked this condo. I cooked most meals in the condo and only had to purchase a small crock pot (that I left) as the condo was sufficiently stocked with basic cookware and utensils, etc. The basics of soap, garbage bags, TP, paper towels and dish soap were very convenient and thoughtful. Bathroom had just enough towels for us four.

Grills were nice and my husband made new friends each time we grilled out. We went to a laundromat mid stay, rather than use the washers and dryers. Take change if you are planning to do laundry. There is no onsite management, so you have to figure out your way round the complex. A wall map of the resort would be nice to see when you walk up. We could hear the ocean from our condo, but could not see it. You can walk across the garden and up the steps to see the ocean. Stay on an upper floor if you want to see the ocean from your condo. There is no air conditioner, but that was not a problem in December. Road noise from the street behind the condo was there but not too noticeable. The location of the condo is really in Napili which is about 20 minutes North of Lahaina. We were always on the go, being so far north was a lot of additional traveling and traffic to and from.

My guys went scuba diving with the manta rays, we all went to the Lahaina Luau, drove up the crater, to Makena State Park and to Hana and beyond. 25 years ago we stayed in Kihei and I loved Kaanapali beach.....which is no longer a beautiful pristine beach.....still a pretty beach but now lined with dozens of resorts. Big beach in Makena State Park is still beautiful and pristine. Our visit was over Christmas and the weather seemed to come in from the Northwest and hang around the mountain right over Napili.

Overall the condo was great. Wish I could pick it up and move it to all of our travel destinations. :-)

First let’s agree that Maui’s weather is paradise regardless of locale. Now let’s add locale and say, if you want perfect views of the ocean and valley along with a perfect beach, perfect pool, access to the best shopping and restaurants in Kaanapali/Lahaina this is the place! Having alll of that plus room for 6 a double sized condo, with laundry, full kitchen, dishwasher and included extras like beach gear, etc is great. Our family of 4 with two teens found it perfect.

Morning coffee and breakfast for us before 5 mile runs along the beach walk, in either direction, while the teens slept in uninterrupted = perfect for all! Shopping, parking, snorkeling, tennis, beach, pool and hot tub all within a quick walk. Great guest experience, recommended to all, but I hope you don’t so the place is available for us next time!

2nd time to the island and wouldn’t change a thing! Ohana cousins and aloha!

Our family loved unite 510. My husband and I brought our 20 & 21 year old daughters on our first trip to Maui and had a great experience here. The front desk staff was very friendly and loved all the space in the condo for 10 days.

If you love the sound of crashing waves as you sleep, the master bedroom is perfect! I missed that sound when I got home and had to play wave music, I was so attached to that sound after 10 days. The second bedroom was also large, and nice with a private bathroom and king bed. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching the sky and sea change colors, whales off in the distance, and more than one stunning rainbow. Great memories!

We had the opportunity to stay at The Whaler for 6 days over Christmas in 2018. It was perfect. Getting checked in was easy, parking was included, and it was so close to the beach and restaurants.

The condo itself was large, had a great balcony and was equipped with everything we could possibly need--even chairs to take to the beach! There were large windows that overlooked the ocean and sunset.

I honestly couldn't have been happier with a place to stay while we were in Maui. Staying at The Whaler was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
