“If you’re looking for an ocean front condo rental, look no further! This place has it all — it’s a lot of bang for the buck. As described, it has been completely remodeled throughout. The owners have done a tasteful job of incorporating beach and tropical design elements. The booking process was very streamlined and efficient and the place was very clean upon our arrival.

The new kitchen and spectacular ocean front views inspired us to cook and prepare meals at the condo instead of dining out. We took advantage of the well-maintained BBQ grills in the pool area while watching sunsets, sipping cocktails and watching the Tiki torches being lit.

The layout of the unit is very comfortable, the ocean views from the dining table, master bedroom and the lanai are spectacular. We didn’t see any whales or sea turtles as some of the other guests (wrong time of the year). The lanai is situated in a north-westerly direction, so you don’t get the direct sun beaming right at you like the adjacent building. This way you can enjoy the view all day long without having to pull down the shades.

The beds in both rooms were comfortable, but a bit on the firm side compared to what we’re used to. I think a pillow-top would be a good addition. You will love going to sleep every night to the sound of gently rolling waves.

Our favorite beach is at the Ali’i Kahakili Beach Park in Kaanapali — only 3 miles away. It’s excellent for snorkeling, offers shady trees and an excellent stretch of sand. Supermarket Times is where we did most of grocery shopping and the Farmers Market organic store for more specialty items. Both are within a mile or two of the unit. The underground parking with the designated spot is conveniently located next to the elevator – although the steep entrance/exit was at times difficult to negotiate with another car.

The free WiFi proved to be very useful and access to our NetFlix account through the BlueRay DVD player was also unexpected and enjoyable. The kitchen is well-equipped and met all our cooking needs and included a coffee-maker. If you enjoy your cup of brew in the morning, I recommend stopping by the Costco right outside the airport and grabbing some Maui Coffee Roasting coffee on the way.
