The condo was quiet and clean. The queen size bed was very comfortable and kitchen had updated appliances. My 18yo and 15yo sons slept on the sofa bed and said they were comfortable. The newish bed situation was the main reason I booked this condo. I cooked most meals in the condo and only had to purchase a small crock pot (that I left) as the condo was sufficiently stocked with basic cookware and utensils, etc. The basics of soap, garbage bags, TP, paper towels and dish soap were very convenient and thoughtful. Bathroom had just enough towels for us four.

Grills were nice and my husband made new friends each time we grilled out. We went to a laundromat mid stay, rather than use the washers and dryers. Take change if you are planning to do laundry. There is no onsite management, so you have to figure out your way round the complex. A wall map of the resort would be nice to see when you walk up. We could hear the ocean from our condo, but could not see it. You can walk across the garden and up the steps to see the ocean. Stay on an upper floor if you want to see the ocean from your condo. There is no air conditioner, but that was not a problem in December. Road noise from the street behind the condo was there but not too noticeable. The location of the condo is really in Napili which is about 20 minutes North of Lahaina. We were always on the go, being so far north was a lot of additional traveling and traffic to and from.

My guys went scuba diving with the manta rays, we all went to the Lahaina Luau, drove up the crater, to Makena State Park and to Hana and beyond. 25 years ago we stayed in Kihei and I loved Kaanapali beach…..which is no longer a beautiful pristine beach…..still a pretty beach but now lined with dozens of resorts. Big beach in Makena State Park is still beautiful and pristine. Our visit was over Christmas and the weather seemed to come in from the Northwest and hang around the mountain right over Napili.

Overall the condo was great. Wish I could pick it up and move it to all of our travel destinations. 🙂
