The Whaler 456 is a fantastic unit! This one bedroom one bathroom unit has been fully updated. Granite counters, stainless steel appliances, beautiful tiles and newer carpets. Plenty of room for a party of 4 with the sleeper sofa in the main living area. Big windows/sliding doors open up to the over-sized lanai Great ocean views looking North all the way up the beach to Black rock. Fabulous ocean views. We saw lots of Whales and a few Sea turtles playing in the surf.
The whales were a bit further out but plentiful and easy to spot. I would recommend binoculars be brought. The unit is well equipped with comfortable furnishings including 2 large wall mounted flat screen tv’s. The kitchen has everything needed to make preparing and serving meals a breeze. The Whaler is a wonderful place to stay. It has recently renovated and the grounds are gorgeous. The Whalers Village is just a short walk away with convenient shopping at the many shops and restaurants. We loved It! Aloha!
