We cannot say enough positive about this place. One of the best places we have stayed.
As we walked in the ocean and beach opened up in front of us. The wall-to wall great room windows make you feel like you are on the beach, even inside the condo. As we checked out the place, we found that the “back” master and bathrooms had equally incredible views of the beach and ocean. The front master shower is huge. Lots of little touches everywhere. There are two lanai’s facing the beach on opposite sides of the unit. This condo has more space than we have seen before, especially at this price and for this location.
The beach- It was tempting to hang out all day on the lanai’s because you feel like you are on the beach. But the beach is calling, and it is right below you. The beach is a nice sandy beach that extends up and down the coast for quite a bit. It was never crowded (almost you could say “empty” of people) lots of room to set up for the day. We saw turtles on the south end every time we went out. Snorkled out and swam with one. We did a lot of snorkeling – and our favorite place was Kapalua which is about 5 minutes up the coat.
The new remodel was a complete update. Everything is new, but still has a tropical feel. It looks like the owners did further decoration since the pictures that we saw on VRBO. Overall, it feels warm but modern. The two king beds are firm but comfortable. Obviously also new. All the furniture is new. The kitchen had everything and more that you would need for cooking. It has many spices and other condiments. Lots of food storage. Actually, there are so many cabinets it can be hard to find things.
The property is clean and very nicely landscaped. The on-property restaurant (more of a beach bar with a full menu) had good food. It’s not 5*, but on par with what you find at most mid-level restaurants. The area around the resort was nice and low key. Many little shops, a grocery, a number of restaurants. All within a couple blocks.
We loved it. We hope to be back one day.
