Our first impression when we walked in the door to our units was “Wow”!! The view from the balconies was breathtaking! We have a large family of 11 so we were happy to find a place online that would accommodate all of us. The same owner had two units at The Maalaea Banyans condos, both with amazing views.
Getting settled went very smoothly and there were no issues with the door codes, parking or directions getting there. Both units were clean and had all the necessary basics. The units did look somewhat smaller than the pictures showed but we all had enough space and bonded our family even closer. The wifi worked great. Appliances and water all great.
The pool and hot tub were much enjoyed. Our kids snorkelled and swam with the turtles in the ocean right in front of the condos almost every day we were there. These condos are within walking distance to the aquarium and marina where there are a couple restaurants and shops as well. It is however in a very windy area of the island but that is really the only downside we could find. But we were off exploring everyday so the wind wasn’t much of an issue anyways.
Maui is such an amazing place!! I would highly recommend taking a helicopter tour through Air Maui. Lovely people and incredible experience.
Our whole holiday was one of the best family vacations we’ve ever taken and we would love to return some day.
