Maalaea Banyans resort is the perfect central location! We stayed in Unit 310 and the view the minute we walked in set the tone for our stay! Beautiful ocean view, quiet and peaceful setting. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The a/c unit was for the living room, but the ceiling fan in the bedroom did more than enough to keep us comfortable. In fact we used the a/c very little.
You get a good breeze through the condo when you open the bedroom window and the sliding door to the lanai. Only negative was minor and it was that the bedroom window faced the elevator which is brightly lit at night. There are good black out curtains to block the light, but I would have rather slept with the window open – just my personal preference. We did find out that this part of the island is a bit windier than other parts, but it did not detract from our vacation at all. If we ever get the pleasure to go back to Maui, we would not hesitate to rent this unit again!
